Dalíland (2022)
1974 verbringt der 70-jährige Surrealist Salvador Dalí wie jedes Jahr zusammen mit seiner Frau und Muse Gala ein paar Monate im St. Regis Hotel in New York. Der junge Galerieassistent James Linton wird von Dalí überraschend gebeten, ihn bei den Vorbereitungen für eine neue Ausstellung zu unterstützen. Und damit führt der Weg direkt in das schillernde DALíLAND, eine von Models, Musik- und Filmstars sowie einer bunten Mischung aus High und Low Society bevölkerten Welt. Im Zentrum der alternde exzentrische Künstler Dalí, der alle mit seiner Genialität beeindruckt, und gleichzeitig eine berührende Verletzlichkeit offenbart, besonders in Hinblick auf seine Frau. Als Gala sich in einen aufstrebenden jungen Musical-Star verguckt und ihn großzügig finanziert, riskiert sie damit nicht nur den gemeinsamen Ruin, sondern bringt auch die fast fünfzigjährige Ehe ins Wanken.
