Agatha und die Wahrheit des Verbrechens (2018)
Autorin Agatha Christie befindet sich im Jahr 1926 sowohl beruflich als auch privat in einer Krise: Nicht nur werden ihre Werke wegen vermeintlich vorhersehbarer Handlungsstränge kritisiert, ihr untreuer Ehemann fordert auch noch die Scheidung. Bei dem Versuch, eine alternative kreative Richtung für ihre Romane zu finden, trifft sie auf Mabel Rogers, eine Frau, die Hilfe bei der Aufklärung eines Mordfalls benötigt: Ihre Partnerin Florence Nightingale Shore wurde in der Bahn zu Tode geprügelt. Obwohl sie sich zunächst vor der Aufklärungsarbeit scheut, begibt sich Christie dennoch als verdeckte Ermittlerin auf die Spur des Verbrechens. Schon bald befindet sie sich inmitten ihres ganz eigenen Kriminalfalls - mit echten Figuren und greifbarer Gefahr …
