Jocks (1986)
Das Tennisteam am Los Angeles College ist ein ausgeflippter Haufen, aber vollkommen erfolglos. Der Schuldirektor sieht es nicht mehr ein, dafür Geld auszugeben und will das Team deswegen auflösen und gleichzeitig die Stipendien der Sportler streichen. Was nun? Trainer Chip Williams und seine Sportler wollen das natürlich verhindern und finden einen guten Grund, ihren Direktor dazu zu bewegen, bei einem Tennisturnier mitzumachen, das die Ehre des Teams und der Schule wieder herstellen soll. Doch es gibt ein Problem: Das Turnier soll in Las Vegas stattfinden und das ist nicht gerade die Stadt, in der man sich ausschliesslich auf Sport konzentriert.
