Ballfieber (1997)
London, 1989: Schon seit 18 Jahren gehört Pauls ganze Leidenschaft dem Fussball. Der Englischlehrer widmet seine ganze Freizeit dem FC Arsenal London. Wenn sein Lieblingsverein verliert, geht es im schlecht, gewinnen sie, ist Paul glücklich. Zumindest bis er seiner großen Liebe Sarah begegnet, die Fussball für sinnlose Zeitverschwendung hält und seine Langzeitobsession auf eine harte Probe stellt. Mit allen Mitteln versucht sie das sture Kind im Manne zu zähmen, um wenigstens den zweiten Platz in Pauls Leben halten zu können. Nach einiger Zeit droht die Beziehung an seiner Leidenschaft zu zerbrechen, doch als Paul erfährt, dass Sarah ein Kind von ihm erwartet, beschließt er sich endlich zu ändern...
