Lorraine Ashbourne (geboren 1961 in Manchester) ist eine englische Bühnen-, Film- und Fernsehschauspielerin. Sie besuchte die Wilbraham High School, als sie in Fallowfield lebte. Sie war Mitglied des Stretford Children's Theatre und wirkte an der Stage Society der Universität Manchester sowie am Manchester Youth Theatre mit. Am 19. April 1982 begann sie ihr Schauspielstudium an der Webber Drama School. Ashbourne war in britischen Serien und Fernsehfilmen zu sehen, darunter: „Playing the Field“ (1998), „Unforgotten“ (2017), „Grantchester“ (2017), „Maigret in Montmartre“ (2017), „Midsomer Murders“ (2018), „The Street“ und „Jericho“. Als Bühnenschauspielerin trat Lorraine regelmäßig am Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester auf und verkörperte Rollen wie Kate Hardcastle in „She Stoops to Conquer“ und Emilia in „Othello“, in denen sie jeweils an der Seite ihres Ehemanns Andy Serkis spielte. 2019 spielte sie Barbara Castle in „The Crown“ und ab 2020 Mrs. Varley in „Bridgerton“. Sie verkörperte Joan Nuthall in „Alma's Not Normal“ (2020) und Daphne Sparrow in „Sherwood“ (2022). Außerdem spielte sie Karen in „I Hate Suzie“ (2024) und hatte einen Gastauftritt in „After the Flood“ (2024).
