Smokin' Aces (2006)
Als der eher zweitklassige Vegas-Bühnenzauberer Buddy "Aces" Israel ankündigt gegen seine ehemaligen Partner beim organisierten Verbrechen auszusagen, setzt der Mafiaboss Sparazza genau eine Million Dollar aus, um Israel aus dem Weg zu räumen. Dieser wird jedoch vom FBI in Lake Tahoe in einem Hotel unter den Schutz zweier Beamter, Messner und Carruthers, gestellt. Doch das Versteck ist keineswegs sicher und sobald die Nachricht über die hohe Kopfprämie durchgesickert ist, versucht eine ganze Armee von gegeneinander arbeitenden Mietkillern, Kopfgeldjägern, Schlägern und Mafiosos, den Überläufer mit allen Mitteln aus dem Weg zu räumen. Dazu werden auch die größten Kaliber eingesetzt, allerdings stehen sich die Killer dabei natürlich bisweilen selbst im Weg.
