Belvedere räumt auf (1948)
Als das Ehepaar Tacey und Harry King für seine Kinder einen Babysitter sucht, wird die Anzeige in der Zeitung von einem Kandidaten namens Lynn Belvedere beantwortet. Man erwartet ein Kindermädchen, doch dann stellt sich heraus, daß es sich bei Lynn Belvedere um einen Mann handelt. Er scheint ein Mann mit tausenden Talenten zu sein, wobei der Grund für die Annahme dieses Jobs allerdings ein ganz simpler ist: Er will Recherchen für einen Roman anstellen.
