Die Familie Baskerville sollte sich besser nicht im Moor blicken lassen, denn dort erwartet sie nur eines: Der Tod. Das liegt nicht zuletzt an einem Fluch, der die Familie belastet, von dem der Nachkomme Sir Henry wenig hält. Extra aus Übersee angereist will er sich eigentlich gar nicht mit dem Fluch oder sonstigem Hexenwerk abgeben, sondern nur möglichst rasch die angefallene Erbschaft abwickeln. Erst ein Mordanschlag auf sein Leben verändert die Lage…
