Die Unbarmherzigen (1987)
Eine Reihe mysteriöser Hubschrauberabstürze verunsichern die Piloten der US-Army. Mayor Cutter, der mit der Untersuchung beauftragt ist, stößt auf einen gefährlichen Materialfehler. Als er mit seinem Fund an die Öffentlichkeit gehen will, wird er von bezahlten Killern der aufgescheuchten Rüstungsindustrie umgebracht. Doch die hochbrisanten Beweise, finden sie nicht. Nun gerät auch noch seine Frau und sein kleiner Sohn in arge Bedrängnis - denn die korrupten Militärs und der Geheimdienst arbeiten mit der Rüstungsindustrie zusammen und wollen sich ihr großes Geschäft nicht verderben lassen. Eine gnadenlose Jagd beginnt....
