Amy Marie Madigan ist eine US-amerikanische Schauspielerin. Sie ist sowohl auf der Bühne als auch im Film erfolgreich und wurde unter anderem mit einem Golden Globe Award und einem Oscar ausgezeichnet sowie für einen Emmy nominiert. Seit 1983 ist sie mit dem Schauspieler Ed Harris verheiratet. Madigan gab ihr Filmdebüt in dem Drama „Love Child“ (1982), für das sie für den Golden Globe Award als Beste Nachwuchsschauspielerin nominiert wurde. Für ihre Darstellung einer Frau in einer schwierigen Ehe in dem Drama „Twice in a Lifetime“ (1985) erhielt sie Nominierungen für den Oscar und den Golden Globe Award als Beste Nebendarstellerin. Zu ihren weiteren Filmen zählen „Love Letters“ (1984), „Alamo Bay“ (1985), „Nowhere to Hide“ (1987), „Uncle Buck“ (1989), „Field of Dreams“ (1989), „Female Perversions“ (1996), „Pollock“ (2000) und „Gone Baby Gone“ (2007). Nachdem sie lange Zeit keine anspruchsvollen Rollen mehr erhalten hatte, erlangte sie mit ihrer Darstellung im Horrorfilm „Weapons“ (2025) neue Aufmerksamkeit.
