Vlasta Vrana ist ein kanadischer Schauspieler tschechischer Abstammung. Sein Nachname bedeutet auf Tschechisch „Krähe“. Vrana wurde als Sohn tschechischer Eltern in Norwegen geboren und zog im Alter von vier Jahren nach Kanada. Er wirkte in zahlreichen Fernsehserien und Filmen mit, darunter „The New Avengers“, „The Littlest Hobo“, „Choices“, „Spearfield's Daughter“, „The Kiss“, „War of the Worlds“, „After Amy“, „All Souls“, „Friday the 13th: The Series“, „Windsor Protocol“, „Lobby“, „Highlander III: The Sorcerer“, „Sirens“, „Mom P.I.“, „The Hitchhiker“, „Press Run“, „Waking the Dead“ und „The Blue Man“. Er wurde 2005 von ACTRA Montreal mit dem Award of Excellence ausgezeichnet und erhielt beim Trenton Film Festival den Richard-Kind-Preis als bester Schauspieler. Außerdem spielte er Feuerwehrchef Wickersham in „Secret Window“ und Booker (MPC) in „The Day After Tomorrow“. Zu seinen Synchronsprecherarbeiten zählen Auftritte in „Assassin’s Creed“, „Splinter Cell“, „Heavy Metal“, „Heavy Metal 2000“ und „The Mysterious Cities of Gold“ sowie in Dokumentarfilmen und Tausenden von Radio- und Fernsehwerbespots. Er sprach außerdem den Kommentar für „Canada Vignettes“-Filme und mehrere andere Filme des National Film Board of Canada.
