Das Phantom der Oper (1925)
Die Pariser Oper. Ein mysteriöses Phantom droht den neuen Direktoren der berühmten Musikbühne mit einer bevorstehenden Katastrophe, sollte nicht die junge Sängerin Christine Daaé, die Zweitbesetzung der Hauptdarstellerin, deren Part übernehmen. Als die Drohung verhallt, hält das Phantom Wort und verschleppt die junge Frau in sein tief unter der Opernbühne verborgenes Versteck. Der Viscount Raoul Chagny, Christines Geliebter, setzt alles daran, sie aus den Fängen des Phantoms zu befreien...
