Lock Up - Überleben ist alles (1989)
Frank Leone wurde für ein minderschweres Verbrechen verurteilt. Seine Haftstrafe ist fast beendet, als ihn der sadistische Direktor Drumgoole, den Leone einst öffentlich bloßgestellt hat, in sein Gefängnis verlegen lässt. Trotz ungerechter Behandlung durch Drumgoole lässt sich Frank zunächst angesichts seiner bevorstehenden Entlassung nicht provozieren. Erst als Drumgoole scheinbar einen Wärter beauftragt, Franks Freundin zu vergewaltigen, versucht er auszubrechen. Der Ausbruch misslingt, aber Frank gelingt es, Drumgoole zu einem Geständnis zu zwingen, indem er ihn auf einen elektrischen Stuhl schnallt und droht, ihn zu töten. Damit ist Frank rehabilitiert und kann das Gefängnis nach Ablauf seiner Strafe verlassen.
