Keira Christina Knightley (geboren am 26. März 1985) ist eine englische Schauspielerin und Model. Schon als Kind begann sie zu schauspielern und wurde 2002 international bekannt, nachdem sie in den Filmen Bend It Like Beckham und Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl mitgespielt hatte. Knightley ist in mehreren Hollywood-Filmen zu sehen und wurde für ihre Rolle als Elizabeth Bennet in Joe Wrights Verfilmung von Jane Austens Roman Pride and Prejudice 2005 für den Academy Award for Best Actress und den Golden Globe Award for Best Actress nominiert. Zwei Jahre später wurde sie erneut für den Golden Globe Award als beste Schauspielerin sowie für ihre Leistung in der Versöhnung für den BAFTA Award als beste Schauspielerin in einer Hauptrolle nominiert.
