Robert Alonzo ist ein philippinisch-amerikanischer Stuntkoordinator, Kampfchoreograf und Second-Unit-Regisseur. Geboren in Manila, Philippinen, und aufgewachsen in den USA, entwickelte Alonzo schon früh eine Leidenschaft für Kampfsport und Film, die zu einer dynamischen und vielseitigen Karriere führte. Er trainierte unter Großmeister Jun Chong und ist Träger des schwarzen Gürtels in Taekwondo und Hapkido. Akademisch hat er einen Abschluss in Studio Arts und Kommunikationswissenschaften von der Loyola Marymount University mit Nebenfächern in Animation und Marketing. In fast drei Jahrzehnten hat Alonzo über 200 Film-, Fernseh-, Werbe- und Musikvideoproduktionen realisiert. Seine Expertise hat ihn zu einem gefragten Partner für Stars wie Tom Cruise, Dwayne Johnson, Mark Wahlberg, Jeremy Renner und Jake Gyllenhaal gemacht. Zu seinen Regiearbeiten als Second Unit-Regisseur zählen große Studioproduktionen wie Oblivion, Tomorrowland, Deadpool, Bright, Alpha und The Batman.
