Crank 2 - High Voltage (2009)
Normalerweise genügt ein Sturz aus einem Hubschrauber über Hunderte von Metern und der Aufprall auf ein Auto, um einen Menschen ins Jenseits zu befördern, aber Chev Chelios ist nicht irgendein Mann. Dennoch sieht es nicht wirklich besser für ihn aus, denn als er im Krankenhaus wieder halbwegs geradeaus sehen kann, haben ihm Organmediziner im Auftrag des Triadenbossen Johnny Vang gerade das Herz herausoperiert. Stattdessen hat Chev ein seltsames Kunstherz eingesetzt bekommen, daß von einer Art Autobatterie angetrieben wird. Chelios fackelt nicht lange und flieht, wobei er das Problem hat, daß die Batterie am Ende ist und ständig neu aufgeladen werden muß, was Chelios dazu nötigt, sich an allen möglichen und unmöglichen Ort mit Stromströßen zu traktieren. Bei der Jagd auf sein Herz kommt ihm schließlich auch noch die nervige Stripperin Ria in die Quere, was die Sache nicht einfacher – und schon gar nicht ruhiger oder gewaltärmer macht.
