Bill McKinney war ein US-amerikanischer Charakterdarsteller, dessen bekannteste Rolle die des sadistischen Trappers war, der Bobby Trippe (Ned Beatty) in dem Film „Beim Sterben ist jeder der Erste“ misshandelte und anschließend sodomisierte. McKinney ist außerdem für seine Auftritte in sieben Filmen von Clint Eastwood bekannt, insbesondere als Kavalleriekommandant der Union, Captain „Redlegs“ Terrill, in „Der Texaner“. Die meisten seiner Kollegen hielten Bill McKinney für groß, brutal und gefährlich. Zumindest auf den ersten Blick. Dabei war er nur 1,78 m groß.
