Janet McTeer OBE (gebohren am 5. August 1961) ist eine englische Schauspielerin. Sie begann ihre Karriereausbildung an der Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, bevor sie sich für ihre vielfältigen Rollen auf der Bühne und auf der Leinwand sowohl in historischen Stücken als auch in modernen Dramen einen Namen machte. Sie erhielt zahlreiche Auszeichnungen, darunter einen Tony Award, einen Olivier Award, einen Golden Globe Award und Nominierungen für zwei Oscars und den Primetime Emmy Award. Im Jahr 2008 wurde sie für ihre Verdienste um das Theater zum Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) ernannt.
