David Charles Lawrence, bekannt als Bruno Lawrence, war ein in England geborener neuseeländischer Musiker und Schauspieler, der in Neuseeland und Australien in der Branche tätig war. Er wurde zunächst als Musiker und Gründer des Ensembles Blerta in den 1970er Jahren bekannt und spielte später in mehreren großen Filmen mit. Zu seinen Fernsehauftritten gehörte eine Hauptrolle in der australischen Satireserie Frontline in den 1990er Jahren.
