The Delinquents - Sie sind jung und wollen frei sein (1989)
Es beginnt wie eine Jugendgeschichte aus der Rebellenzeit: Brownie wird vom Stiefvater geprügelt und will nur noch abhauen. Lola leidet unter einer Mutter, die allein den Alkohol liebt. Beide werden in einem australischen Dorf des Jahres 1957 herumgestoßen und treffen sich bei der Vorführung von "The wild one" mit dem Idol Marlon Brando. Was folgt, ist Liebe, Schwangerschaft und gewaltsame Trennung. Es wird nicht die letzte sein, doch schnell ist klar, daß sie sich immer wieder finden werden.
