Marc Macaulay ist ein US-amerikanischer Charakterdarsteller und gelegentlicher Stuntman mit fast 160 Film- und Fernsehrollen. Er wurde 1957 in Millinocket, Maine, geboren und schloss sein Studium an der University of Maine mit einem Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theaterwissenschaften ab. Macaulay begann seine Schauspielkarriere in den frühen 1980er-Jahren. Er wirkte in zahlreichen Filmen und Fernsehserien mit, darunter „Edward mit den Scherenhänden“ (1990), „Passagier 57“ (1992), „Cop and a Half“ (1993), „The Real McCoy“ (1993) und „Burn Notice“ (2007–2013). Macaulay ist zudem ein erfahrener Stuntman und war unter anderem in Filmen wie „The Punisher“ (2004), „Monster“ (2003) und „The Jacket“ (2005) als Stuntman tätig. Neben seiner Arbeit in Film und Fernsehen stand Macaulay auch in mehreren Theaterproduktionen auf der Bühne. Er wurde für seine Arbeit vielfach ausgezeichnet, unter anderem mit dem Drama Desk Award als Bester Nebendarsteller in einem Theaterstück für seine Leistung in der Produktion „Die letzten Tage des Judas Ischariot“ von 1997. Macaulay ist ein vielseitiger Schauspieler, der für seine starke Bühnenpräsenz und seine Fähigkeit bekannt ist, komplexe Charaktere zum Leben zu erwecken. Er ist ein angesehenes Mitglied der Schauspielgemeinschaft und arbeitet weiterhin in Film, Fernsehen und Theater.
