Kathleen Denise Quinlan Abbott (* 19. November 1954) ist eine US-amerikanische Film- und Fernsehschauspielerin. Bekannt wurde sie vor allem durch ihre Golden-Globe-nominierte Leistung in der Verfilmung des Romans „Ich habe dir nie einen Rosengarten versprochen“ (1977) und ihre Golden-Globe- und Oscar-nominierte Rolle in dem Film „Apollo 13“ (1995). Darüber hinaus spielte sie in zahlreichen weiteren Kinofilmen, Fernsehfilmen und Serien in einer fast fünf Jahrzehnte umspannenden Karriere. Ihr Spielfilmdebüt gab sie in Mel Stuarts „One Is a Lonely Number“ (1972), gefolgt von George Lucas’ „American Graffiti“ (1973). Ihren endgültigen Durchbruch feierte sie mit der Rolle der Deborah Blake in „Ich habe dir nie einen Rosengarten versprochen“ (1977).
