Sully, un fringant sexagénaire, se conduit encore comme un adolescent et repousse toute forme de responsabilité. Il refuse de parler à son ex-femme depuis des années, il habite dans une chambre de la maison d'une institutrice agée, son meilleur ami est un demi attardé mental et il est attiré par Toby, qui a la moitié de son âge et qui est la femme d'un employeur occasionnel.
