Biographie:

Né à Berlin Ouest d’un soldat améri­cain et d’une banquière alle­mande, Walter Bruce Willis rejoint le sol des États-Unis à l’âge de 2 ans. Il gran­dit ensuite dans le New Jersey où il exprime son amour pour le théâtre dès le lycée. Mais c’est en tant que gardien de sécu­rité d’une centrale nucléaire, puis dans le métier de barman à New York qu’il débute sa vie active. À la fin des années 1970, Bruce Willis décide de prendre en main sa carrière d’ac­teur et réus­sit à obte­nir divers petits rôles, mais c’est avec son person­nage de David Addi­son Jr dans la série télé­vi­sée Clair de lune (1985) qu’il connaît le succès. En 1987, Bruce Willis épouse l’ac­trice Demi Moore, avec qui il aura trois filles : Rumer Glenn, Scout LaRue et Tallu­lah Belle. Bruce et Demi repré­sentent alors l’un des couples de stars les plus média­ti­sés d’Hol­ly­wood. En 1988, avec le premier volet de la saga Die Hard, Piège de cris­tal (1988), Bruce Willis fait une entrée fracas­sante au box-office. Cette noto­riété ne le quit­tera plus et lui permet­tra d’ac­cé­der à des rôles dans des films deve­nus cultes : Pulp Fiction (1994), L’Armée des 12 singes (1995), Armageddon (1998), Sixième sens (1999), Incassable (2000)... Sur la tota­lité de sa carrière, Bruce Willis est classé en huitième posi­tion des acteurs les plus rentables du cinéma mondial. Bruce Willis et Demi Moore divorcent en 2000. Puis il se rema­rie avec le mannequin Emma Heming qui lui donnera deux filles : Mabel Ray et Evelyn Penn, née le 5 mai 2014.
