My Life So Far (1999)
Un mémoire de la vie d'une famille qui grandit dans un domaine britannique après la Première Guerre mondiale dirigé par un solide disciplinaire, sa fille, son mari inventeur, leur fils de dix ans et sa sœur aînée. Par le ménage passe un certain nombre de prétendants espérant impressionner la jeune femme, dont un aviateur. Lorsque le fils de l'aînée se présente au domaine avec son fiancé français, tout s'emballe. Le jeune garçon s'intéresse soudain à son allure sexuelle et son père est dérangé par ses propres sentiments non victoriens.
