Kelly Macdonald (née le 23 février 1976) est une actrice écossaise. Connue pour ses rôles au cinéma et à la télévision, elle a reçu de nombreuses distinctions, dont un BAFTA, un Primetime Emmy Award et quatre Screen Actors Guild Awards. Macdonald a fait ses débuts au cinéma dans *Trainspotting* (1996) de Danny Boyle. Elle a été nominée pour le BAFTA de la meilleure actrice dans un second rôle pour son rôle dans le film des frères Coen No Country for Old Men (2007). Au cours de sa carrière, elle a joué dans Elizabeth (1998), Gosford Park (2001), Intermission (2003), Nanny McPhee (2005), Harry Potter et les Reliques de la Mort – Partie 2 (2011), Anna Karénine (2012), T2 Trainspotting (2017) et Operation Mincemeat (2021). Elle a prêté sa voix à la princesse Merida dans le film d'animation Disney Pixar Rebelle (2012). À la télévision, elle a remporté le Primetime Emmy Award de la meilleure actrice dans un second rôle dans une mini-série ou un téléfilm pour son rôle dans le film de BBC One The Girl in the Café (2005). Elle a également été nominée aux Emmy Awards pour son interprétation de Margaret Thompson dans la série policière d'époque Boardwalk Empire (2010-2014). Elle a également joué dans l'épisode « Hated in the Nation » de Black Mirror (2016), la série limitée Giri/Haji (2019) et Line of Duty (2021).
