Christine (1958)
Vienne 1906: Frantz Lobheimer vient de rompre la discrète liaison qu'il entretenait avec la baronne Eggersdorf. Il a découvert le véritable amour auprès de la jeune et tendre Christine. Seulement, le baron Eggersdorf ayant acquis, ce même soir, la certitude que sa femme était la maîtresse de Frantz, le provoque en duel et le tue. Christine, anéantie par cette nouvelle, prise d'un malaise sur le balcon en voyant défiler le régiment de Frantz, bascule dans le vide.
