Zachary David Alexander "Zac" Efron (né le 18 octobre 1987) est un acteur, chanteur et danseur américain. Il a commencé à jouer professionnellement au début des années 2000 et s'est fait connaître du jeune public après avoir joué dans Disney Channel Original Movie High School Musical, dans la série WB Summerland et dans la version cinématographique 2007 du fixatif Hairspray de Broadway. En 2007, avant la sortie de High School Musical 2, Rolling Stone l'a déclaré " poster boy for tweenyboppers " et l'a présenté dans leur numéro de fin août 2007. Depuis, Efron a joué dans les films 17 Again, Me and Orson Welles, et Charlie St. Cloud, et doit jouer dans New Year's Eve et The Lucky One.
