Fuori controllo (2010)
Thomas Craven è un detective della omicidi del Boston Police Department. Un giorno la figlia Emma ventiquattrenne va a trovarlo e viene uccisa davanti a casa mentre si trova al suo fianco. Il primo sospetto cade su possibili nemici di Thomas. Ma il poliziotto non accetta supinamente questa semplice ipotesi e prende ad indagare per proprio conto. Scoprirà che la figlia, che stava svolgendo un periodo di apprendistato presso la Northmoor (un'importante azienda nel settore dello sviluppo e ricerca) aveva scoperto le attività illegali della stessa. Alla Northmoor ci si occupava di nucleare con forti coperture politiche. L'unico scopo di Thomas è ora quello di smascherare i colpevoli.
