Alphabet City (1984)
Tutto in una notte. Johnny si incontra con l'amico Lippy, uno strambo spacciatore di cocaina. I due organizzano l'incendio di un condominio, commissionato dalla malavita locale. Sembra chiaro che dovrà essere Johnny ad appiccare l'incendio prima che albeggi. Peccato che la madre e la sorella del ragazzo abitino proprio nel palazzo in questione. Il giovane tenta di chiamarsi fuori, ma il cappio della mafia è ben stretto al suo collo: qualcuno, infatti, ha preso in ostaggio la sua fidanzata e il loro figlio neonato...
