Ritorno a Brideshead (2008)
1925. Oxford Charles Ryder, originario di Paddington e aspirante pittore, conosce il raffinato e trasgressivo Sebastian Flyte figlio di Lord e Lady Marchmain. Charles viene rapidamente attratto dalla vitalità di Sebastian divenendone l'amante e accettando di essere invitato nella sontuosa dimora di Brideshead. Nel corso di una delle visite conosce Julia, sorella di Sebastian, innamorandosene. La famiglia è però rigidamente cattolica e mentre può sopportare l'eccentricità del figlio non potrà mai ammettere che Julia possa sposare un 'ateo' come Charles.
