Una giovane signora americana segue fiduciosa il marito, un ricco inglese che la porta con sé a Londra. Fra le nebbie della capitale britannica, la nostra yankee si trova un po' a disagio, ma poi arriva il terrore vero e proprio quando viene perseguitata, prima al telefono poi da presenze misteriose, con oscure minacce di morte.
