Memphis Belle (1990)
Nel maggio 1943, da una base aerea in Inghilterra, si leva in volo per la sua venticinquesima missione un bombardiere B-17, battezzato con il nome di "Memphis Belle". La fortezza volante è condotta da un equipaggio di nove componenti: nove aviatori dai caratteri e dagli ideali personali non proprio omogenei. La missione risulta durissima, sia per le cattive condizioni atmosferiche, sia per gli attacchi aerei tedeschi e per l'azione della contraerea.
