Il magnifico irlandese (1965)
Biografia piuttosto fedele dell'operaio irlandese Sean O'Casey, attivo nella resistenza antibritannica e diventato poi un celebre commediografo. Tra gli episodi salienti che vengono narrati nel film compare un curioso tentativo di furto commesso da O'Casey ai danni di una biblioteca: giovane, assetato di sapere, era tanto povero da non potersi comprare neppure un libro.
