L'ultimo re di Scozia (2006)
Nicholas Garrigan è un medico scozzese neolaureato che sogna l'avventura umanitaria. La trova in Uganda dove si reca ad esercitare la sua professione. Viene immediatamente colpito dalla moglie del medico responsabile dell'ospedale ma ben presto una più forte calamita lo attrae a sé: si tratta di Idi Amin Dada, il trascinatore di folle che ha appena sconfitto l'avversario Milton Obote e rimarrà Presidente del Paese dal 1971 al 1979. Nicholas diverrà suo medico personale e poi suo principale consigliere scoprendo progressivamente che dietro alla facciata di brillante bonomia si cela un uomo crudele.
