Abuso di potere (1992)
Michael e Karen Carr hanno sempre confidato nel prossimo, specialmente nei dottori, nei sacerdoti e nei poliziotti. Nessuno gli ha spiegato che il tradimento e l'inganno possono annidarsi in chiunque. La coppia vive felicemente nella periferia di Los Angeles. Dopo aver subito un tentativo di furto e rapina in casa fanno quello che chiunque farebbe: chiamano la Polizia. Conoscono così il poliziotto Pete Davis e, attratti dal suo comportamento gentile e sensibile, diventano immediatamente amici. Benché a Los Angeles sia diventato sempre più difficile instaurare rapporti umani con delle persone, Karen e Michael sentono di aver incontrato finalmente un amico che realmente tiene al loro benessere...
