Il capitano New Eyes viaggia indietro nel tempo per incontrare i dinosauri. Questi, dopo aver mangiato i cereali prodotti dal capitano, diventano intelligenti e non aggressivi. Per cui acconsentono di viaggiare fino alla nostra era e più precisamente a New York, dove li aspetta un enorme parco giochi per rallegrare tutti i bambini. Ma ad aspettarli oltre a numerosi piccoli amici, anche il fratello malvagio del capitano, che ha altri piani per i poveri dinosauri.
