Electric Dreams (1984)
Miles è Giovane architetto si San Francisco che a causa dei suoi continui ritardi a lavoro, completamente restio all’elettronica, si vede costretto a comprarsi un agenda elettronica per pianificare i propri appuntamenti. Sopraffatto dalla commessa del negozio, finisce per comprare un computer di ultima generazione. Oltre che ad usarlo come agenda, così, Miles inizia ad utilizzarlo anche per velocizzare il processo di creazione di un nuovo particolare mattone antisismico di sua invenzione, e collegandovi stereo, televisione, elettrodomestici e apertura della porta, crea la “casa elettronica”. Nel festeggiare la sua ritrovata passione per l’elettronica, versa accidentalmente dello spumante sul computer, che invece di rompersi, inizia ad animarsi e a captare i suoni della vita che lo circondano.
