Vicino alla fine (1992)
Francia - 1944, una pattuglia di soldati americani in ricognizione individua un plotone tedesco che vorrebbe arrendersi anziché morire nelle ultime fasi dell'offensiva contro la Germania. I due gruppi di uomini, in quel momento isolati dalla guerra, mettono da parte le loro divergenze e trascorrono il Natale insieme prima che i piani di resa vengano compromessi ed entrambe le parti siano costrette di nuovo a combattere l'una contro l'altra.
