The Stepfather - Il patrigno (1987)
Sembra una gran brava persona, tutto casa e famiglia, ma non lo è. Jerry è un maniaco assassino, specialista nello sposare vedove con prole, salvo poi massacrare la nuova famigliola, quando questa non lo soddisfa più (e un'altra sistemazione si profila all'orizzonte). Ha già tre stragi al suo attivo (la polizia non lo ha mai preso perché ha sempre cambiato nome e località) ma le ultime vittime designate si dimostrano più coriacee delle precedenti. L'ultima figliastra si difende strenuamente e riesce anche a uccidere lo psicopatico.
