Sinfonia di morte (1963)
Michael Conrad, guardiano di uno zoo, ha sviluppato maggiore affezione verso felini con cui lavora quotidianamente piuttosto che nei confronti degli esseri umani che lo circondano. Circondato da una moglie che avrebbe voluto lasciarlo già anni prima e dal giovane figlio muto Carl, Michael ha anche sviluppato una terribile abitudine: trasforma in cibo per i suoi felini tutti coloro che lo hanno deluso o hanno osato avvicinarsi troppo alle sue faccende private.
