Le fanciulle delle follie (1941)
La scoperta di Flo Ziegfeld cambia la vita di una ragazza, ma non necessariamente in meglio, come scoprono tre belle donne quando si uniscono allo spettacolo a Broadway: Susan, la cantante che deve lasciarsi alle spalle l'anziano padre vaudevilliano; la vulnerabile Sheila, la lavoratrice inseguita sia da un milionario che dal suo fedele fidanzato di Flatbush; e la misteriosa bellezza europea Sandra, il cui marito violinista da concerto non riesce a sopportare il pensiero della loro fuga dalla miseria con una promessa di glamour in costumi succinti.
