The Divide (2012)
Dopo che una terribile esplosione ha devastato New York, otto sconosciuti si ritrovano nelle sotterraneo del palazzo dove abitano, una sorta di rifugio antiatomico allestito dal paranoico portiere Mickey. Sottodimensionato ma con acqua e cibo in abbondanza, il luogo offre al gruppo riparo dagli orrori che avvengono all'esterno, dandogli modo di metabolizzare la catastrofe avvenuta. Ma improvvisamente degli uomini che indossano tute protettive fanno irruzione nel rifugio e aprono il fuoco. Gli otto cercano di fare gruppo per difendersi dall'improvvisa minaccia, senza sapere chi sono i loro aggressori e cosa vogliono da loro. Un primo assalto viene respinto, ma all'interno del rifugio l'ansia e la paranoia prenderanno il sopravvento.
