La storia di tre uomini che nel 1941 realizzarono un'impresa epica, raggiungendo l'India dopo essere scappati da un gulag siberiano e dopo aver percorso a piedi, senza alcun sostegno, ben 6500 chilometri, in condizioni estreme. In realtà però il gruppo era ben più numeroso.
