Mosse vincenti (2011)
New Providence, New Jersey. Mike Flaherty è un avvocato che assiste persone anziane. Nel tempo libero fa l'allenatore di una squadra di giovani lottatori non particolarmente brillanti. Un giorno gli si presenta il caso di un anziano cliente, Leo Poplar, il quale viene messo sotto tutela. Mike decide di diventarne il tutor per incassare la rendita mensile di 1500 dollari. Però, invece di rispettarne la volontà di rientrare nella propria abitazione, lo fa andare in una casa di riposo attribuendo la decisione al giudice. Leo ha una figlia che non si occupa di lui ma anche un nipote, Kyle, che compare davanti a casa sua in fuga dalla madre che disprezza. Mike lo ospita temporaneamente e quando scopre che è una giovane promessa della lotta, lo fa entrare nella sua squadra e se ne fa carico insieme alla moglie. La madre del ragazzo però irrompe sulla scena.
