Les Charlots si fermano in un paese in fermento per gli imminenti festeggiamenti. Il capogruppo si innamora di una strana ragazza, che preferisce la forza alla poesia e che sembra ricambiarlo quando lui diventa un campione. Il giorno delle nozze però lo abbandona.
