Highlander II - Il ritorno (1991)
Lo strato di ozono che ricopriva una volta la Terra non esiste più, e le vittime delle radiazioni solari si contano a milioni. Dopo aver conseguito la Ricompensa (cioè vivere una vita mortale, invecchiare e morire) Connor McLeod è diventato uno scienziato, e insieme al collega Alan Neyman ha costruito lo Scudo Spaziale, che proteggerà il pianeta dai raggi ultravioletti, ma lo condannerà anche ad un'esistenza senza sole e cielo blu. Nel 2024, ormai vecchio e malandato, egli ricorda il suo antico passato: ricorderà che le sue origini non sono terrestri, bensì hanno avuto luogo nel lontano pianeta Zeist, dove col fido maestro Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez ha guidato la rivolta popolare contro il perfido dittatore del luogo, il generale Katana.
