Sir Thomas Sean Connery (25 agosto 1930 – 31 ottobre 2020) è stato un attore e produttore scozzese che ha vinto un Academy Award, due BAFTA Awards (uno dei quali è un BAFTA Academy Fellowship Award) e tre Golden Globe, tra cui il Cecil B. DeMille Award e un Henrietta Award. Connery è stato il primo attore a interpretare il personaggio di James Bond in un film, recitando in sette film di James Bond (tutti i film da Dr. No a Si vive solo due volte, più Diamonds Are Forever e Mai dire mai), tra il 1962 e il 1983. Nel 1988, Connery ha vinto l'Oscar come miglior attore non protagonista per il suo ruolo in Gli intoccabili. I suoi film includono anche Marnie (1964), Assassinio sull'Orient Express (1974), L'uomo che volle essere re (1975), Un ponte troppo lontano (1977), Highlander (1986), Indiana Jones e l'ultima crociata (1989), Caccia a Ottobre Rosso (1990), Dragonheart (1996), The Rock (1996) e Alla ricerca di Forrester (2000).
