I commedianti (1967)
Nella pericolosa e corrotta Haiti del dittatore "papà Doc" Duvalier gli intrighi politici e i loschi affari sono la prassi quotidiana non solo per la misera popolazione, ma anche per chi ostenta idee liberali. Nell'isola si ritrovano anche due strani personaggi, ognuno impegnato a dimostrare di essere diverso da quello che è: Brown, un inglese innamorato della moglie di un diplomatico, e Jones, avventuriero e filibustiere che cerca nella morte un impossibile riscatto.
