Buffalo 66 (1998)
Billy Brown, un nevrotico ragazzo esce di prigione dopo averci passato 5 anni per un crimine non commesso. Infatti Brown ha dovuto accusarsi del crimine per saldare un debito di gioco che non era in grado di pagare. 5 anni prima aveva puntato 10.000 dollari sulla squadra dei Buffalo Bills vincenti nel Super Bowl, ma all'ultimo secondo un giocatore dei Bills di nome Scott Wood (riferimento a Scott Norwood) sbaglia un field goal che condanna la squadra alla sconfitta e lui al pagamento di una cifra spropositata che non possiede. Billy nasconde la detenzione ai suoi genitori e convince un amico a spedire delle lettere scritte da Billy nelle feste per simulare una continua corrispondenza, in queste lettere Billy Brown finge di avere un lavoro presso il governo. In prigione apprende che il giocatore che sbagliò il field goal all'ultimo secondo era corrotto e quindi decide di ucciderlo dopo essere uscito di prigione...
